Among the ’originals’ which survive are a magnificent brick fireplace in the hotel’s bar, many timber beams and a tunnel built during The Civil War, linking the building with the nearby Michelham Priory. Horse riding, walking and fishing are local activities, while golfers can play at the nearby Horam Golf Club.
