This hotel is situated one mile from the city centre and Fort William British rail station. The hotel faces Ben Nevis mountain range. All of the rooms were at one time of a good standard. They are furnished in tartans and warm colours although some of the decor is a little dated. The bedrooms are medium in size and the bathrooms are small. The restaurant serves typical Scottish fayre and is traditional in design. It comprises a part of the main building of the hotel which is a short walk for some of the rooms.
